A Smooth Finish: Aftercare Tips

Days 1-4:

  • Freshly Brewed Look: Your brows may appear darker and more defined than expected—don’t worry, this is normal! The pigment is settling in.
  • Swelling: Mild swelling and redness may occur, especially around the brows or lash line.
  • Sensitivity: You might feel some tenderness or slight discomfort around the treated areas. Keep the area clean and avoid touching it.
  • Blotting:  The day of your procedure, expect a small amount of fluid, weeping, or blood. Firmly blot brows with a clean gauze or slightly damp paper towel to remove lymph. Excess lymph may dry and forms scabs too early. Blotting typically only needs to be done the day of your visit.
  • Cleanse: Start using your mild cleanser the evening after your procedure.

Days 5-8:

  • Peeling Begins: You might start to notice slight flaking or peeling. It's just the “shaking” of your skin—don't pick or scratch it.
  • Light Redness: Any redness should start to fad, leaving you with a more settled, natural look.
  • Slight Discomfort: You may still feel some slight tenderness, but it should be lessening.

Days 9-14:

  • Color Softens: The color of may appear lighter or softer as the pigment settles into your skin. This is completely normal! The final shade will come through in a few weeks.
  • No More Swelling: Any swelling should have completely gone down by now.
  • Healing Continues: The scabbing (if any) is likely to fall off naturally now. Just remember, patience is key.

Week 3-4

  • Smooth Finish: Your brows/lashes should look more natural and well-defined, with any scabbing fully healed. You’ll likely see a clearer shape and a more “polished” result.
  • Final Fading: Some fading is still possible as your pigment fully settles. But don't fret—touch-ups are normal and part of the process.
  • Healing Complete: The initial healing should be over! If you’ve followed the aftercare guidelines, your brows/lashes should look vibrant and beautiful.
  • Cleanse: Start using your mild cleanser the evening after your procedure.
